Louisiana Forage Conference
On Dec. 1, 2023, LGLCI and Louisiana Forage and Grasslands Council (LFGC) will co-host the Louisiana Forage Conference in Alexandria, LA.
This year's conference theme is Carbon Sequestration, with keynote speaker, Dr.Tiffany Lachmet from Texas A&M, presenting about Soil Carbon Contract Considerations.
Conference Content Includes:
*Producer panel on "Producing and Using Baleage,"
* Question and answer round table discussion from two carbon companies
*Soil Carbon Management in Louisiana Grazing Systems
*LSU Beef Cattle Studies at Dean Lee Research Station
*Beginning producer forage management practices
