Our mission is to promote ecological and economical grazing management practices to landowners and managers, livestock producers, and the public, which results in improved grazing efficiency, profitability, livestock performance, carbon sequestration, and soil quality.
The Louisiana Grazing Lands Conservation Initiative is a producer-led and producer-focused 501(c)(3) non-profit that acts as a trusted information resource – from farmers, for farmers – for grazing in Louisiana. To achieve this, we host farm tours and networking events and provide a variety of online educational resources.
LGLCI's YouTube channel features a variety of videos related to grazing in Louisiana, including producer documentaries, webinars, and more.
